The Coir used, which is the "hair/ coconut husk" on the outside of the coconuts, come from Kerala - a state on India's tropical Malar Coast, also referred to the land of the coconut

Note - It is advisable to use these coir mats indoors since they are dyed with colour to produce their attractive appearance. Exposure to rain when placed outdoors may result in colour fading or running.
